Dr. Thomas J. Rogers age 82 of Dunmor, Kentucky and formerly of Harborcreek, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at his daughter's home in Cadiz, Kentucky. He was born in Erie on December 30, 1930 a son of the late Maximillion and Rose Kroto Rogers. Dr. Rogers was a retired Veterinarian. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Veterinarian Medical Association, the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association, a longtime Rotarian and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Cadiz, Ky. In his retirement he was a longtime participant in the Trigg Co. Farmers Market in Kentucky. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, June Harris Rogers; two sons, Kris Thomas Rogers of Springboro, Pa. and Robert Michael Rogers of Cadiz, Ky.; one daughter, Robin Anne Jergens and her husband Dan of Cadiz, Ky.; two grandchildren, Tara Lynn Vanderhoff of Madison, Ohio and Danielle Elaine Jergens of Cadiz, Ky.; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Rogers of Erie, Pa.; and one sister, Theresa Feasler of Girard, Pa. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16504 on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and are invited to funeral services there on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Private interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
