William H. Seth, age 69, of Harborcreek, passed away at St. Vincent Health Center on Friday, April 25, 2014. He was born in Erie on April 26, 1944, a son of the late James and Jane (Wilson) Seth.

William was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Seth Air-Care for 16 years, worked as a manager for RABE Environmental for 15 years, and later in management and as a consultant for the William T. Spaeder Company.

He was the past president of RSES. William enjoyed golf, camping, and tennis. He wrestled while attending Strong Vincent and coached wrestling at St. James School. He loved being around his family.

William was preceded in death by his parents and by five sisters, Betsy Brown, Linda Croushore, Joan Fish, Kay Booser, and Michelle Seth; sister-in-law, Shirley Seth; brothers-in-law, Loren Fish and Jack Loeffler.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shea (Delbridge) Seth; his son, Brian P. Seth of Erie; his daughter, Shelly Hagerty, husband, Ben Munson of Hillsboro, Ohio; six grandchildren, Shannon Hagerty, fiancé, Kyle Wyant, Sean Hagerty, Seth Munson, Zoie Seth, Skyler Munson, and Shyann Munson; a great-granddaughter, Shayla Hagerty; and an uncle, James Wilson. He is also survived by three sisters, Lois Cowan, husband, Lon of Waterford, Susan Teribery, husband, Bob of Erie, and Lisa Causgrove, husband, Mark of Erie; a brother, Jerry Seth, wife, Kate of Summit; brothers-in-law, Dave Booser, Jim Croushore and Larry Brown; twenty four nieces and nephews, forty one great-nieces and nephews, and six great-great-nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
