WEST CHESTER Elva R. Weaver, 90, formerly of Littlestown, died early Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Chester County Hospital, West Chester. She was the widow of P. Bernard Weaver, who died August 21, 2002. Born February 28, 1922, in Carroll County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Horace and Carrie (Warner) Wine. She was a 1940 Littlestown High School graduate and was employed with Sylvia Garments, Littlestown, and retired from Berkheimer Electric, Littlestown, as a bookkeeper. Elva is survived by a son, Bernard R. Weaver and wife, Carol of Downingtown; two grandsons, Eric R. Weaver and wife, Mellany of Ashburn, Va., and Scott V. Weaver and wife, Jennifer of Churchville; a granddaughter, Kaylee D. Villbrandt of Philadelphia; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters. Elva was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Good and Ruth Worley. She was a member of Christ U.C.C., Littlestown, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Guild. Elva was also a member of Littlestown VFW Aux., American Legion Aux., Alpha Fire Co. Aux., General Federation of Women's Clubs, and Hanover BPOE Aux. Funeral service is Monday, January 7, at 12 noon at her church with the Rev. Craig E. Arentz and the Rev. Frederick H. Diehl officiating. Viewing is Monday 11 a.m. to 12 noon at church.
