Harold 'Has' Schwartzmiller, age 71 of Kekoskee, WI, passed away Thursday, February, 20, 2014 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

A funeral service for Has will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Kekoskee, WI, with Rev. Dennis Bratz officiating. A visitation will take place on Monday, February 24th from 3:00 p.m. until 6 p.m. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Kekoskee. Burial will follow at Kekoskee Cemetery where graveside military rites will be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.

Harold was born on April 13, 1942 to Harold and Louise (Darge) Schwartzmiller in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Marsha Franke on September 23, 1967 at St. Mathew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Iron Ridge.

Harold graduated from Mayville High School the class of 1962. Has served his country from 1962 through 1965, in the Army, where he served 13 months in Korea. He was also a member of Mayville's American Legion Post #69 and the VFW Post #10170. Harold was employed at Michael's Pipeline for 8 years and Waas Boring from 1974 to 2014. Harold also served 30 years as a firefighter for Kekoskee Fire Department. He was a faithful member at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church of Kekoskee. He also enjoyed spending time as a member of Waupun and Kekoskee's Hockey Club and watching NASCAR. Harold also loved hunting and fishing at his camp up north in Thorp. He lived for his grand kids, and his children.

Harold is survived by, his wife Marsha- his sons- Mark (Kim) Schwartzmiller of Theresa, Tim (Michelle) Schwartzmiller of Boyd, WI, his daughter- Michelle (Joe) Surita of Papillion, NE. His sister-in-law- Lynn (John) Wrucke of Horicon. His grandchildren- Abbi, Justin, Izzy, Gunnar, Cecily, Taylor, and Gabby. Further survived nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by- his parents, sister Rosemary Zettler
