Nancy R. Yentz, age 80, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 9, 1933, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Herman and Ruth Marie (Sheridan) Radtke. She graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, and went on to attend University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she obtained a degree as an Occupational Therapist. Nancy worked as an Occupational Therapist at UW-Hospitals for 25 years. On September 5, 1955, Nancy was united in marriage to William Allen (Bill) Yentz. Beginning in 1957, she enjoyed spending summers on Green Lake with Bill and their family. Upon her retirement, Nancy and Bill moved from Madison to Green Lake where they continued the 50 plus year tradition of the Radtke Labor Day Fish Chowder party. Her many pastimes included playing golf, bowling, and Bridge with her husband and friends. Nancy will be remembered most for her passion of spending time with and following the various academic and athletic pursuits of her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, William Allen (Bill) Yentz, Princeton, WI; son, John Philip (Mary), Wauwatosa, WI; son, William Michael, Brookfield, WI; son, Thomas Dean, (Patricia) Spring Green, WI; daughter, Jean Marie (Glenn) Peliska, Mequon, WI; son, Matthew Allen (Audra), Sun Prairie, WI; sister, Sally Kolian, Minneapolis, MN; and seventeen fun and loving grandchildren that kept her young. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James, and a grandson, Joseph.
Visitation for Nancy R. Yentz will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 530 Ruth Street, Green Lake, WI 54941.
Memorial Mass for Nancy will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake. Father Philip Krogman will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Weiser Cemetery, in the Township of Princeton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
