Patricia Clara Savage (Patty) was born March 17, 1932 in Dodge County, town of Elba, to Thomas J. and Clara (Daley) Savage. She was baptized on March 23, 1932, at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Elba. She is survived by one siste,r Suzanne Savage of Juneau and brother, James Savage of Oshkosh. Sisters, Frances Motisi, Marion Town, Loretta Savage and Margaret Savage and brother, Joe Savage preceded her in death. She is additionally survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cousin Helen Gehrke kept in contact with her.

Patty lived at home in Columbus until 1949 at age 17 when she moved to Clearview in Juneau, followed by placements at Southern Wisconsin Colony, Central Wisconsin Center and Horizons Unlimited group homes in Rhinelander. In 1998 she moved to Fond du Lac living in Lifeline Services group homes, first at Eden House and since 2000 at Park Haven.

Being a very social person, she was a favorite of the staff and her peers. She was always kind and caring but could make sassy off the cuff remarks that made everyone chuckle. She loved the cats that lived at the house and had favorite names for them. She always wore her watch and rings and strings of beads. She liked listening to music on tapes, especially "oldies" and Elvis. She liked to play cards and table games, and loved the trips to the Zoo and the Badger Camp weeks.

She attended ARC Opportunities Center and looked forward to going to work every day and the many activities offered. She enjoyed socializing with peers and staff and was willing to participate in most activities. She enjoyed craft projects she proudly brought home, Special Olympics, camp, community outings, magazines and work. She received the "Sweetest Heart Award" which she treasured.

The funeral will be held in Beaver Dam at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, on Thursday, July 31st.
