Adrien A. Beaudette, 81

LEOMINSTER -- Adrien A. Beaudette, 81, of Leominster, died Sunday, Jan. 19, in UMass/Memorial Health Care Center in Worcester.

Adrien was born in Leominster, on Sept. 19, 1932, a son of the late Adrien and Solange (Theroux) Beaudette and has lived her most of his life. He graduated from St. Bernard's High School and then joined the U.S. Army where he served as a Corporal during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge he attended business school in Worcester.

Adrien owned and operated Do do's Phlowers for over 30 years prior to his retirement. Several years ago he also worked as a supervisor for the Boston Concession Company and prior to that he ran a small coffee shop called Do do's on Water St. in Fitchburg.

He was a very active member of the Leominster Rotary Club where he volunteered on several committees and was always willing to lend on hand in many community projects.

Adrien leaves his wife, Gail M. (Zimmermann) Allo of Leominster; two sons, Chandler Beaudette of Saugerties, NY and Aaron Beaudette of Woodstock, NY; a daughter, Deborah Williams of Riverside, CA; a step-daughter, Valerie Gale of Leominster; a sister, Gilbert Tremblay of West Boylston; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

BEAUDETTE -- A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 4 PM in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the , 85 Astor Ave. Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062-5040.
