LUNENBURG -- Carlton D. Brown, 85, a longtime resident of Lunenburg, died Friday, March 8, in the Golden Living Center, Fitchburg, after a long illness.
Mr. Brown leaves his wife of 52 years, Veronica T. (Wright) Brown and a son, David C. Brown, both of Lunenburg; one brother, Gerald Brown, of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Nancy Hancock, of Leominster; and nieces and nephews.
Carlton was a Print Cutter at the former U.C. Press Co. in Leominster, for many years, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in North Leominster, and attended Fitchburg High School.
He was a Veteran of World War II, serving as a Technician 5th Grade in the U.S. Army.
He was born in Fitchburg, MA, on August 25, 1927, a son of the late George C., and May C. (Gorman) Brown.
BROWN -- Funeral Services will be private. Burial will take place in the spring in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bath, NH. There are no calling hours.
