O'Neil Gosselin
of Leominster; 85

LEOMINSTER -- O'Neil Gosselin, 85, of Leominster, died Saturday, March 15, after a short stay at the Highlands.

Mr. Gosselin was born October 24, 1928, in Leominster, son of the late Rosario and Beatrice (Hebert) Gosselin. Mr. Gosselin enlisted in the United States Navy, serving in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He worked at the former Foster Grant and was a member of Saint Cecilia's Parish. He enjoyed traveling to Canada where he had a passion for the country living. He enjoyed the outdoors especially sitting outside at the picnic table watching the beautiful sunsets and boats go by. He also truly loved family time and Acadian music.

He was predeceased by his wife of forty years Marguerite ( Fontaine) Gosselin, his son O'Neil Gosselin and his siblings his sisters Aline, Doris, Irene, Lilian, a brother Roland and a daughter Jeanne.

He leaves his daughters, Donna LaPointe and her husband, Emile, and May Thebeau and her husband Albert with whom he resided with all of Leominster, his son, Raymond Comeau and his wife Alice of Peterborough, NH; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Leominster Hospital 3C for excellent care they provided, Health Alliance Hospice for making his last days comfortable, and Terry Arroyo, his aide from Montachusett Home Care, who he enjoyed very much.

GOSSELIN -- The funeral will be held Thursday, March 20, at 11:00 A.M in the M.A Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster.

A calling hour will precede the funeral Thursday, March 20, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M in the funeral home.
