TAMPA, Florida -- Philip L. Shepard 73, of Tampa passed away October 18, 2013.

Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy; daughters, Deborah Whitney (Irving) and Darlene Goodrich, both of Tampa; stepsons, Brent James (Kathleen) and Travis James, both of Massachusetts; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Philip was a talented musician. He played piano for known gospel artists, local events, and the Tampa Shores Baptist Church. Originally from Massachusetts, Phillip was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

SHEPARD -- Family will receive friends from 10-11am on Wednesday, October 23 at the Tampa Shores Baptist Church, 8307 Double Branch Road, Tampa. A funeral service will be held at 11am followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery with military honors at 2:30pm.
