FITCHBURG -- Philip Paul Hugo, III, 58, died at his home, July 25, 2013, after being stricken ill.
He is the son, of the late Philip Paul, II, and Elizabeth C. (Harrington) Hugo.
Philip leaves three sisters; Kathleen A. Quirici, and her husband, retired US Army Col. Russell, of Clifton, VA; Jane E. Burwell, and her husband Greg, of Wethersfield, CT; and Mary E. Hugo, of Fitchburg; two nephews, Matthew Burwell, of CT, and Kevin Quirici, of VA, and his aunt, Ruth Harrington, of Fitchburg.
Philip was born in Fitchburg, on April 6, 1955, and graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1974. He also attended, Central Connecticut State University. He worked as a Sales Account Executive for Emerson Swan, David Gooding, Inc, and NIBCO, through out the New England area.
Philip was a loving brother, nephew and uncle. He loved to play hockey and volunteered as a youth hockey coach. He was an avid New England sports fan. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
HUGO -- The Funeral will be held from the Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli, and the Fitchburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 243 Water Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013, in St. Bernard's Parish at St. Camillus Church, 333 Mechanic Street, Fitchburg, MA.
Calling Hours will be in the Funeral Home, prior to the Funeral, from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M.
Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg at a later date.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Philip's name to the Sisters of the Presentation Retirement Fund, 99 Church Street, Leominster, MA 01453 or to Wethersfield Alumni Hockey, c/o Arnie Mason, 644 Prospect Street, Wethersfield, CT 06109.
