Richard T. Nettelbladt, 82 -- FITCHBURG -- Richard T. Nettelbladt, 82, of Fitchburg died Friday July 12, 2013 in the Golden Living Center. Richard was born in Worcester on January 10, 1931 a son of the late Ernest and Esther (Ingman) Nettelbladt. He was Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Richard was a sales manager for Hyland Rice Office Equipment and Birmingham Office Equipment. In his retirement he became an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Maplewood Golf Course in Lunenburg where he also worked part-time. His wife of 57 years Esther (Antonio) Nettelbladt died on July 1, 2013. He leaves two sons, Richard Nettelbladt II and Steve Nettelbladt both of Fitchburg; two daughters, Gail Marella and Carol Brown both of Fitchburg; 8 grandchildren, Michael Nettelbladt, Kristina Zanin, Julianne Marella, Steve Marella, Richard Nettelbladt III, Katelyn Marella, Rachel Marella and James Brown II; 5 great-grandchildren, Mia, Anthony, Brooke, Sophia and Isabella; a sister, Lois Nettelbladt of the Villages, FL and several nephews and nieces. Besides his wife he is predeceased by 2 brothers, Ernest Nettelbladt Jr. and Kenneth Nettelbladt. NETTELBLADT -- A funeral service for Richard and his wife and will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 12:30 PM in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the , 330 Congress St. # 501, Boston, MA 02210-1258.
