Retired Fitchburg, MA firefighter; Vet; 80

LADY LAKE, FL -- Roger Raymond Boudreau, 80, of Lady Lake, FL, passed from this life, October 20, 2013. Born in Fitchburg, MA, he was the son of the late Edward and Mathilda (Gaudet) Boudreau.

Roger retired as a Lieutenant from the Fitchburg Fire Department after 32 years of service. He was one of the original members of the Scuba Rescue and Recovery Team, and was a member of the Police & Firefighters Association in Lady Lake, FL. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and served aboard the USS Sullivan. He was a member of the American Legion Post #429 of Fitchburg, MA the USS Sullivan Association and the Tin Can Sailors Association. He was also a Boy Scout and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He was known for his love of golf, and traveling to see his children, grandchildren and friends in MA and CO.

Roger leaves his wife of 57 years, Constance M. (Boucher) Boudreau; sons, Steven T. Boudreau and wife, Kerry of Leominster, MA, William R. Boudreau and wife, Sarah of Nashua, NH, daughter, Michelle M. Feola and husband, David of Evergreen, CO; brother, Conrad Boudreau of Fitchburg, MA; sister, Bernice Daigle of Leominster, MA; and 5 grandchildren, Patrick and Kevin Boudreau, Ian and Jacqueline Boudreau, and Cassidy Johnson. Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by siblings, Edward Boudreau and Ann Dellogono.
