Andrew A. Huy, 91, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the home he and his "Sweetie" built and lived in all of their married lives. He was a wonderful father and husband and will be missed dearly.

He was born in Jacksonville in 1922 and came to Melbourne in 1930 at the age of 8. During World War II in 1943 he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and was trained as an Aircraft Gunner and Radio Operator. He flew on 50 missions in the European Theatre on a B-17 Flying Fortress. Andy co-owned the Dixie Bar with his brother John, was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, and was a Master Gardener.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn; son, Drew; daughters, Nancy (Bob) Perry and Lynn (Gary) Stevens; grandchildren, Amanda, Rebecca, Brian and Greg; a brother, Bob; and sisters, Ann and Sarah.

He was predeceased by his brother, John and a sister, Gladys.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 1 pm in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Chapel.
