Cassandra (Sandy) Mary Lollis died Friday, July 11, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born July 22, 1940 in Brockton, MA. She graduated from North Miami Senior High (1958), University of Florida (1962) and received her M.S. degree in 1967 at Western Carolina College. She taught in Dade County (Miami) for five years, and in Brevard County (Cocoa Beach High & Cocoa High) for 35 years.
Her parents, Marion and Frank Lollis preceded her death. Her aunt, Mary Watts (Cape Canaveral) and uncle, Bob Welch (CA) along with cousins, Judy Cope, Maureen Nelson, Mary Ellen Ahearn, and Patty McKenna survive. Her godchildren, Cynthia Nicholas, Edward Cope, and Johanna Timms, Matthew Corcoran, and Andrew Cheshire survive with many wonderful memories.
The family wishes to thank Martha Andrade, Angel Patz, Cecilia Finamore, and Sheila Gordon, her caretakers, for an outstanding job during the last months of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home, Cocoa Beach. The Funeral Mass at Our Savior Catholic Church will be at 10:30 a.m. on July 16th.
