Conger Brownlie, 95, a native of Melbourne passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Melbourne.
A Retired Funeral Director and co-owner of Brownlie Funeral Home in Melbourne, he was a graduate of Melbourne High School Class of 1934 and The University of Tennessee, after which he served in the US Navy in WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne; sons, Michael (Barbara), Bart (Amy) Ferguson; daughters, Lisa (Steve) Rutherford, Pat (Steve) Samet and Greer (Steve Waikel) Ferguson; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Jean Maxwell.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 11th from 5pm-7pm and a funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 12th at 2pm at the Brownlie - Maxwell Funeral Chapel.
