Dolores Frances Bruns (hereinafter "Dee"), of Cocoa, Florida, passed away on March 1, 2013. Dee is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard Allen Bruns and his wife, Selene Venus Bruns, of Cocoa, Florida, and Beverly Ann Kubon and her husband, Walter F. Kubon,, of Wheaton, Illinois. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Amanda Cora Tate and a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Dee Tate, both of Addison, Illinois.

Dee will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and wife. She, and her late husband, Alfred Francis Bruns, worked together on achieving various goals and adventures. They once drove to Alaska in their RV to see the majesty there, and they went back to college with both earning their degrees with honors. They were so close to each other that Florida Today wrote an article about the "twosome!"

But, Dee's passion and talent were music. She sang for years in church and was a member of the Officer's Wives Club at Patrick Air Force Base. She performed in operas. She was a fantastic piano player and entertained people with the magic of each of her fingers stroking each key gracefully.

Memorial service will be held Friday March 8th at 12 noon at First United Methodist Church in Port St. John.

Mom, we will always love you,
and may you rest peacefully with the Lord.
