Harold J. Bridgewater

Harold J. Bridgewater, 92, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 21, 2013. A native of Hopkins, Missouri, Harold moved to Florida from Oklahoma in 1971, after retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

Harold was a veteran of multiple wars including WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV). After retiring from the USAF, Harold took a position in the JC Penney automotive department. Harold was also an active member of the First Christian Church in Melbourne, Florida.

Harold is survived by his wife, Juanita Bridgewater of Palm Bay, FL; three daughters, Connie (Steve) Christman of Rockledge, FL, Roberta (Jim) Eckelkamp of Clayton, North Carolina and Rhonda (Pete) Porche of Carlisle, Kentucky; two sisters in Missouri, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 27, 2013 at 1:00PM at the First Christian Church of Melbourne with the service following at 2:00PM. Interment will be at Fountainhead Memorial Park at 3:00 PM Monday, May 27, 2013.
