Jack William Waddell

Jack William Waddell, LCDR US Navy Retired, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Mr. Waddell was born in Wheeling, WV on July 12, 1924 to the late Joseph Edward and Rhea Virginia (nee' Keyser) Waddell. He was a Navy Veteran, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander in 1966 after 24 years of service to his country.

His family includes his wife of 65 years, Gloria Marie Waddell; his children and their spouses, Rhea Ann and Hassan Ghanbari, Jack Richard and Lynda Waddell, Janice Lee Waddell and Mike Jones, James Douglas and Florence Waddell, and Lois Marie Waddell and Brian Harp; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Richard Waddell and Donald Waddell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. at South Babcock Street Baptist Church, 7415 South Babcock St, Palm Bay. Interment with Full Navy Honors will be on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 1:45 p.m. at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth.
