John G. Janosek, Jr.

John G. Janosek, Jr., born September 3, 1946 in Lakewood, OH, passed away December 28, 2013 in Palm Bay at the age of 67.
He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1964. He served in U.S. Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1973 and was a police officer in Little Rock, AR from 1973 to 1974. He was an outstanding swimmer, winning numerous awards in high school and coached a swim team in Okinawa. He was an outstanding bowler, earning a "299" ring. He moved to Palm Bay in 1995.
He is survived by his sister Janis (Janosek) Peltier; daughter Chris (Robert) Thomas; son Mike (Sherell Dobyns) Janosek; daughter Andrea Janosek; grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, Patrick, Anna, Cheyenne, Steve, Robert, Wade; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, Bill Peltier, Janine Peltier, Christine Janosek and Jeff Janosek.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Elias) Janosek and brother Charles Janosek of Lakewood, OH; father, John George (Emma Jean) Janosek of Little Rock, AR.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00pm at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne. 724-2222.
