Lorena Muriel Burke, 88, of Satellite Beach, died Sunday, July 28, 2013. Muriel was born in Center Hill, Florida. She was a fourth generation Floridian and a graduate of Leesburg High School class of 1942. Muriel came to Brevard County in 1951 where she worked as an administrative assistant for Civil Service at PAFB until she retired in 1986.

Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her hobby; they brought much joy into her life. She loved them very much and was always dedicated to their happiness and well being. She loved the holidays and family gatherings and she will be dearly missed.

Muriel is survived by her son, Donald C. Reynolds; daughters, Sharon Connell and Michele Farrand; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Charles Burke, Marshall Hyatt and Carolyn Tabacchi.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael Lee Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 1, at the Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel, 1010 E. Palmetto Ave., Melbourne, Florida.
