Robert Zielinski of Melbourne, passed away on July 3, 2013 at the age of 82. He was born in Lyons, Illinois on April 27, 1931.

A Korean War era veteran, Bob was a long time member of VFW Post 4206, where he held officer positions. After honorable discharge from the Air Force, Bob attended the University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Education. He taught History and Geography at Eau Gallie High School.

Bob is predeceased by his father and mother, Leo and Frances Zielinski; his sister, Anna; and brothers, Ed, Ray and Ralph. "Uncle Bob" is also survived by many nephews, nieces and grand-nephews and nieces.

A mass will be celebrated in Bob's memory on July 24th at 8:15 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, located at 1626 Oak Street in Melbourne. There will be a memorial service at VFW Post 4206 later that day. Interment will be at Hills of Rest cemetery in Floral City, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund established with VFW Post 4206, 3201 Dairy Road, Melbourne, FL 32904.
