He worked for the railroad where he met Virginia, the love of his life. They married on December 1st, 1950.
Tom then went to work for AT&T for a number of years before beginning his 32 year career with NASA at KSC. Tom and his wife, Virginia, also started the Lighthouse Christian Bookstore, which later became Operation Lighthouse, a ministry for the needy. Tom and Ginny also started the New Testament Fellowship, a non-denominational spirit filled fellowship of Christian believers.
During retirement, Tom enjoyed working out at the Parrish Fitness Center and driving the golf carts for Parrish Medical Center as a volunteer.
Tom was preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia; his three children, Mary Moschler, Katherine Blackwell, and Thomas (Jane) Millsaps; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
