BUD DeREMER, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Kingston at Dupont, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Bud was the owner of Iron Magic, Inc. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps. veteran and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 499, and VFW Post 10555. Surviving are his wife, Joyce DeRemer of Fort Wayne; daughter, Diane (Lon "Butch") Vonderau of New Haven; sons, Michael (Julie) DeRemer of Seminole, Fla. and Randall (Beth) DeRemer of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Deborah (Mark) Lulling of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Mary DeRemer of Avon; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Alta (Parker) DeRemer; son, Patrick DeRemer; and three sisters. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Doug Croucher officiating. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
