CHARLES E. PATTON, 72, of Fort Wayne, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 18, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born at home in East Bernstadt, Ky., he was a son of the late Charles E. and Lillie (nee. Rader) Patton. He proudly served his country in the Air Force, was a member of American Legion Post 241, Wayne dale, and was a member of The Chapel. He is survived by his children, Deanna (William) Hill of Fort Wayne, Timothy E. Patton of Yulee, Fla., Lisa Patton of Fort Wayne, James (Gloria) Grosso of Denver, Colo., Patricia Adams and Randall (Pam) Patton, both of London, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior to service. Calling also from 11 to 1 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Waynedale.
