DAILEY M. FOGLE, 91, formerly of Churubusco, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, and worked for over 33 years as a photo journalist for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Good News Baptist Church and Press Photo Papers Association, former chaplain of Indiana Horseshoe Pitchers Association, and was named Churubusco Citizen of the Year in 1998. Surviving are his wife of over 66 years, Alverda "Bine" (Geiger) Fogle; son, William L. Fogle of Fort Wayne; sister, Sarah Corrigan of Baltimore, Md.; and grandsons, Zachary (Lynn) Fogle and Travis Fogle. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers. Service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Good News Baptist Church, Churubusco, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Edward A. Thompson officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 p. m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco. Burial with military graveside rites in Riverview Cemetery, south of Churubusco. Memorials to the church.
