DANNY E. BIDDLE, SR., 65, a resident of rural Albion, was in route to his beloved Lake Brevort in Michigan when an unexpected motor vehicle accident caused him to be taken to University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor where he passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. He graduated from North Side High School in 1966 and later from International Business College. He was a self employed realtor, real estate appraiser and property investor, and had also worked as an auctioneer for Schrader Real Estate & Auctions Co., Inc. in Columbia City. He had previously worked at the Federal Land Bank in Albion and also for Orizion Real Estate. He attended New Hope Wesleyan Church, west of Columbia City, and served on the board of directors for Oxford Adoption Foundation. Always a perfectionist, he enjoyed camping, woodworking, coin collecting, and most especially his family. Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou (Johnson) Biddle; a brother-son, Kevin (Tina) Biddle of Churubusco; children, Melody (Donnie Winebrenner) Biddle of Churubusco, Dr. Kimberly (Michael) Sajdak of Columbia City, Danny (Andrea) Biddle, Jr. of Albion, and Kristina (Jeff) Schefke of Oxford, Mich.; mother, Madalene Allfeld of Fort Wayne; brothers, Richard (Drucilla) Biddle of Albion, Leo Wayne Biddle of Churubusco and Phillip Biddle of Fort Wayne; sister, Cheryl (Gary) Hackett of Fort Wayne; son-in-law, Todd (Angie) Weber of Albion; and eleven grandchildren. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday in New Hope Wesleyan Church, 971 North 400 West, Columbia City, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Jason Tash officiating. Calling also from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco. Burial in Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.
