DONALD "DON" ALT, 78, of Brillion, Wis., and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. He was born June 11, 1935 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late William Sr. and Bernice (Roser) Alt. He was a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington with an Accounting degree. He worked as an accountant, traveling the country. He lived in Ocean Springs, Miss. until moving to Wisconsin in 2011 to live with family. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching the N.Y. Yankees, Hoosiers basketball, and Notre Dame Football. "He was a loving Father and proud Grandfather when it mattered the most." Surviving is his one son, Michael (Elizabeth) Alt of Brillion, Wis.; two daughters, Debra Raddatz of Bloomington, Ind. and Andrea Owens of Venice, Fla.; one granddaughter, Allison Alt of Green Bay, Wis.; one brother, Tom Alt of Ocean Springs, Miss.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, William Alt, Jr.; and one sister-in-law, Marilyn Alt. Funeral service was held at an earlier date. Burial in The Catholic Cemetery.
