GREGORY W. RANLY, 65, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Gregory worked as a Advanced Planning Coordinator with Dana for 38 years. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Purdue University; a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran; and a member of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Ranly; daughter, Lori (Eric) Folkestad of Indianapolis; stepsons, Michael (Laura) Lapp and Mark (Tedra) Lapp, both of Fort Wayne, Ronald Lapp of Columbia City; brother, Mark (Nancy) Ranly of Decatur; sisters, Linda (Gary) Franze of Fort Wayne, Cynthia (James) Roehling of Columbia City, Cheryl (Matthew) Pape of Fort Wayne, and Melaine (Michael) Dold of Hamilton, Ind.; and grandchildren, Jared and Josh Folkestad, Tesia Watson, Logan, Hannah, Meghan, Margaret, Christian, Emma, Melanie and Charlie Lapp. He was preceded in death by his parents, William S. and Bernadette Ranly. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. Andrew Budzinski officiating. Calling also from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with a vigil at 7 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
