HAL CURTIS HULL, 71, of Avon, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. He was a Vocation Rehabilitation Specialist for the Veteran's Administration. He served in the US Navy on the USS Coontz in Vietnam. He was a life member of the D.A.V., 1st Commander of I.U.D.A.V., V.F.W., American Legion, Indiana Historical Society, National Genealogy Society, Avon UMC since 1979, Board of Directors Pastor Parish at the church. He was a graduate of IU Bloomington in 1976, and earned a Master's Degree from St. Francis University, Fort Wayne, in 1979. Survivors include wife, Brenda Baughn Hull; son, Cory S. Hull of Avon Ind.; daughters, Kelly (Eric) Wood of Brownsburg, Ind. and Cathy (Brian) Sturm of Avon Ind.; brothers, Norval, Darl and Clarence Hull; sisters, Janice Southern, Helen Shepler and Ruth Williams; sister-in-law, Pat Trainer; brother-in-law, Terry Baughn; and grandchildren, Dustin, Erica, Trey, Derek, Trystan and Travis. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Steven Hull, Charles Hull, Dean Hull, Bernard and Lawrence Wilkerson. Service is 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at Avon United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at the church.
