ISAAC "IKE" THOMAS JOHNSON, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Life Care Center. He retired from Interna tional Harvester after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and lifetime member of American Legion Post 148 and V.F.W. Post 8147. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Charlene J. Johnson; children, Michael T. (Judith) Johnson, Harlean (Carl) Falls and Lynette F. Johnson; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Ora L. Flippen and Briddie Johnson. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Ellis Funeral Home, with visitation one hour before service and American Legion rites beginning at 10:50 a.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
