JENNIFER LORRAINE ALEXANDER, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, in Eugene, Ore. Born Aug. 14, 1979, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Dr. Steven and Susan Alexander, and the sister of Jameson, Emily and Katherine, all of whom survive. She graduated with honors from Homestead High School in 1997, and magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 2001, where she served as Editor-In-Chief of The Vanderbilt Review from 2000 to 2001. She received her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Oregon in 2003. After graduation, she continued to live in Eugene, where she enjoyed writing, teaching, volunteering in her community, and living among the members of the East Blair Housing Cooperative.
