JOHN M. BOJRAB, 93, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Genesis Health-care in New Haven. Born in Fort Wayne, John was a self employed general contractor retiring in 2009. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of Summit City Lodge No. 170 F. & AM., the Mizpah Shrine, American Legion Post 47, and the Indiana Sheriffs' Association. Surviving are his son, Robert J. (Carol) Bojrab of Fort Wayne; daughter, Carolyn Bojrab (Glen) Grate of Fort Wayne; four grandsons, Brett, Brad and Brian Bojrab and Austin Grate; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Bojrab; his parents, Moses and Mary Bojrab; brothers, Joseph Bojrab, Fred Bojrab, Imen Bojrab and Charles Bojrab. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
