JULIE (EDWARDS) BAKER, 53, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born on Oct. 9, 1959 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Donald and Ruth (Bentley) Edwards. Julie was a homemaker; she graduated from Bishop Luers High School and was a 1982 graduate of Indiana University; and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville. "To know her was to love her. Godspeed our beloved Julie." Surviving are her husband, Phil Baker; sons, Nick (fiancé, Elizabeth Babicke) Baker, Reid Baker, and Mitch Baker; father, Donald Edwards; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Miriam Baker; sisters, Laura Bringman, Lisa Edwards, Mindy (Mark) Thoma, and Susan (Jeff) Brooks; brothers, Doug (Stana) Edwards, Charlie (Kim) Edwards, and Brian (Deb) Edwards; brother-in-law, Jeff (Jane) Baker; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth. A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with calling one hour prior. Rev. Tom Metzger officiating. There will also be a Celebration of Life from noon to 2 p.m. following the service. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
