LEON E. GUILLAUME, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. He was born Sept. 17, 1918 in Albion a son of the late Paul and Alice (Mason) Guill-aume. He worked as a machine operator for General Electric before retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and American Legion Post 241. He will be remembered for his volunteering as a fireman, at Lutheran Hospital, and at the airport. He also enjoyed traveling and especially his family. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Helen Guillaume; son, Paul L. (Cindy) Guillaume; daughters, Doris (Robert) Walker, Suzanne (Frank) Marano, and Mary (Rick) Kortokrax; five grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Marker. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; and four sisters. Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
