LOUANN M. GRIFFITHS, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, in Fort Wayne. She was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne. Louann graduated from Central Catholic High School 1950 and attended University of Saint Francis and Indiana University. She worked as an office manager and was the Executive Director with the Allen County Election Board for 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was a very active member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. Surviving are her loving husband of 60 years, Russell Griffiths of Fort Wayne; daughters, Susan (Mike) Yoquelet of Tucson, Ariz., Amy (Matt) LoMaglio of DeLand, Fla. and Valerie Griffiths of Sahuarita, Ariz.; sisters, Elaine Moser of Wolcottville and Judith (Jim) Quinn of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Claudia Houser; sister, Jacqueline Schneider; and brother, Charles Houser. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mark Gurtner officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
