MARIETTA B. STANSKI, 93, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community, Fort Wayne. Born in Arcola, Marietta attended Ball State University and worked for the Allen County Council on Aging and the Foster Grandparent Program. She was a homemaker and a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, the Fort Wayne Bowling Association, American Legion Post 82 Ladies Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose. Surviving are her sons, Ronald (Yvonne) Stanski of Fort Wayne, Jon (Ruth) Stanski of Harper Woods, Mich. and Michael Stanski of Fort Wayne; daughter, Jo Ellen (Tom) Barkley of Angola; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Stanski; parents, Henry and Mary (Hine) Sinnegan; brother, Albert Sinnegan; sisters, Betty Clifford, Helen Miller, Katherine Kurtz, and Kathleen Schneider; and brother, Hank Sinnegan. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Fr. Adam Schmitt presiding. Calling also from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with a vigil at 7 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery.
