MARK J. PERKINS, 59, of Fort Wayne, went to his heavenly home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013. He was born in Indianapolis, June 25, 1954 a son of Armond L. Perkins and Suzanne (Gasper) Perkins. Mark dedicated himself to Lehman Electronics in Fort Wayne for 28 years, where he served as a Vice President and Sales Manager after graduating from Huntington North High School, also completed coursework towards a Psych/History degree at Indiana University. "A devoted family man, Mark Joseph Perkins' tender heart leaves a legacy of love and compassion to all those who knew him and he will be treasured, remembered and esteemed." Surviving Mark are his beloved wife of 23 years, Patricia M. (Sorensen) Perkins; and his children, Melissa Perkins (David Shields), Brock (Carol) Rauch, Jasmine (Jason) Harris, and Karen (Craig) DiIanni; his four grandchildren were the light of his life, Avery and Keira Rauch, Lindsay Apple and Cortni Hedden; his brother and best friend, Michael V. (Jan) Perkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter, Sara Lindsey Perkins. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at Avalon Missionary Church, 1500 Lower Huntington Rd., Fort Wayne. Pastor Keith Koteskey of Avalon Missionary Church officiating.
