MARY LYNN CAVANAUGH, 56, Greenwood, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. Born Oct. 9, 1956, in Muncie, Ind., she was a daughter of Richard and Delana Druhot Levy. Mary Lynn received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Indiana University. She was the Pastoral Associate at St. Mark Catholic Church for the past 18 years. She also was the Director of the BUILD Program at the University of Indianapolis. Mary Lynn was awarded the Religious Education Administrator of the Year by the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. She also was the recipient of the Bronze Pelican Award from the Catholic Committee on Scouting. She was formerly the director of religious education at St. Lawrence Church and was a teacher at both Our Lady of the Greenwood and St. Malachy Catholic Schools. She is survived by her sons, Garod Cavanaugh and Drew (Claire) Cavanaugh; mother, Delana Levy; brother, Jim (Carol) Levy; granddaughter, Lilah Cavanaugh; niece, Jena Levy; nephew, Joel Levy; and longtime companion, David Bethuram; his children, Meghan Bethuram and Sarah Dant (Joseph) and their son, Liam Dant. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 535 E. Edgewood Ave., Indianapolis, Ind., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at the church, with a Vigil service at 8 p.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
