TALMAGE G. "BUD" CAMPBELL, 93, of Huntertown, died on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his home. Born in Stanley, N.Y., he was a World War II Army veteran, and retired in 1982 from Central Soya after 25 years. He later worked as a nurse at Parkview Hospital and for the American Red Cross, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Huntertown United Methodist Church, Huntertown Lions Club, Huntertown V.F.W. Post 11314, and volunteered in various community health programs. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Margaret; children, Brian E. (Jacqui) of Delaware, Ohio, Blair G. (Sheila) of Evanston, Ill., Cathleen (Ronald) Gjerde of St. Charles, Ill., Constance (Mitchel) McConnell of Brownsburg, and Cynthia (James) Hartline of Noblesville; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Huntertown United Methodist Church, 16021 Lima Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastors Greg Hiatt and Sherri Long, officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial in Number Nine Cemetery, Stanley, N.Y.
