VIVIAN V. STUART, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in Columbus, Ga. Born Oct. 21, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo., she was a daughter of Atlean Perry Williams and Evently Williams. She was a graduate of Sumner High School in St. Louis, Mo. and attended St. Louis University. She was a 1978 graduate of University of Saint Francis with a B.S. in Education. She graduated from Indiana University at Fort Wayne with a Masters of Science in Education in 1985. She was inducted into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter and later inducted in Links, Inc. Fort Wayne Chapter, in 1979. She was a retired school teacher, retiring from Fort Wayne Community Schools Holland Elementary School. Survivors include three loving daughters, Karen Stuart, MD (Harold, MD) of Columbus, Ga., Stephanie Stuart of Chicago, Ill and Gretchen Stuart of Ackworth, Ga.; one son, Warren Stuart of Fort Wayne; one sister, Geraldine Atkins of Lake Charles, Mo.; two grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Ellis Funeral Home, 1021 E. Lewis St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Orchestra of Columbus.
