WILLIAM C. BARTOL, 80, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at his home in Warsaw. Born in Warsaw, Ind., William lived in Huntington, Fort Wayne, and Warsaw throughout his life. He worked as a Manager with International Harvester for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran and Life Time Member of V.F.W. Post #2689 in Huntington. He was also a Life Time Member of American Legion Post #2003 in Syracuse, Moose Lodge #6599 in Elkhart, and the Eagles Lodge #3760 in Syracuse. Surviving are his daughters, Barbara Gonterman, and Karen Anderson both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Samantha and Zachery Anderson, Brandon and Christopher Bartol; and companion, Gloria Holley. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bartol; mother, Margaret Bartol Swoverland; daughter, Susanne Bartol; son, Brent Bartol; and son-in-law, Gail Gonterman. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Pastor Toni Carmer officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road.
