WILLIAM J. BLACK, 75, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., William was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Lineman with Philadelphia Electric, from which he retired. Surviving are his wife, Joan Black of Fort Wayne; mother, Catherine Black of New Jersey; daughter, Pattie DeCara of Fort Wayne; son, John (Cristi) Black of Pipersville, Pa.; daughter, Vicki (Michael) Grabowski of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; sister, Cass O'Boyle of New Jersey; brother, Ed Black of New Jersey; Midge Parish of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Black. Memorial Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at D.O.
