JIM BRINGMAN Obituary

JIM BRINGMAN, 66, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Fort Wayne. Born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., he was a Vietnam U.S. Marine Corps. veteran and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 300, Lake City, Mich. Surviving are his former wife, Laura Bringman; daughter, Amy (Jered) Deckena of South Whitley; son, Neil Bringman of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; sister, Mary Wilkinson of Fort Wayne; brother, Pete Bringman of Nappanee; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald J. and Rita A. Bringman; sister, Donna Bringman; and brother, Ed Bringman. Funeral service is 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling from 10 a.m. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Volunteers of America of Indiana, with donations directed for use at Liberty Landing.

Darrelyn Carpenter Gunther lived right behind Jim and we all rode the bus together from Devonshire Dr to New Haven High. He was such a great guy he will be missed! Sincerely Carol Bowles Spicer
