FARMINGTON - Duane J. Cope, age 63, of Charles Street in Farmington, died April 13, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born November 20, 1950 in Wolfeboro, the son of Daniel P. and Kathleen (Peters) Cope, he resided in Farmington the past 40 years, having come from Dover.
A Veteran of the United States Navy, he was a member of the V.F.W.
Duane had been a forklift operator at the former Davidson Rubber Company in Farmington.
Survived by his wife Judith E. (Pratt) Cope, 3 daughters: Sherry Gordon of Middleton, Terry Pike of Farmington and Shawn Maccabee of Rochester, 6 grandchildren, his mother: Kathleen P. Best of Canada, 1 sister: Dianne M. Leary of Farmington, 1 brother: David P. Cope of Rochester, also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: Edward D. Cope, a sister: Rita Casavant and his father: Dan Cope.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, N.H. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the
