Jeffrey A. Pino

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Jeffrey A. Pino, 39, of Akron Avenue in South Berwick, died on March 11, 2013, at his home after a struggle with heart disease. Born in Charlestown, Mass., on June 16, 1973 he was a son of Nicholas and Janet (Kaliniak) Pino. He was raised in Randolph and attended local schools.

Jeffrey worked for many years in the security industry and was a safety instructor as well.

He made his home in the Malden area for a number of years before relocating to the Seacoast area, settling in South Berwick where he made a home for his family and raised his daughters and stepson.

Active in his community he served as a firefighter with the South Berwick Fire Department and had previously served the Town of Eliot Fire Department. His giving nature and good spirit will be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving family, parents Nicholas and Janet of Malden, Mass.; wife Ann Marie; daughters, Shannon and Jessica Pino; stepson Kyle Barbin; brothers David Pino and his wife Sandie of Enfield, Conn., Todd Pino and his wife Ronda of Woburn, Mass., Douglas Liberman and his wife Jessica of Billerica, Mass.; as well as his nieces and nephews, DJ, Joseph, Sebastian, Valerie and Celia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Parish at 160 Agamenticus Road, South Berwick, Maine, with Fr. John Skehan as celebrant. Friends may visit with Jeffrey's family on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, Maine 03904. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the (KJS Pino Fund c/o Doug Liberman 157 Cook St. Billerica, Mass. 01821) in his memory to support his children.
