Julian Gordon Obituary
Born April 18, 1923, and departed on Thursday, March 20, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Brown, & 2 sons, Donald & Jeffrey Gordon, their loving spouses, 7 grandchildren, & 3 great grandchildren.

Julian was a Navy Veteran serving time during World War II. He was very involved in Political and Charitable organizations. Julian cared deeply about social issues of all humanities and treated all people as equals and never judged them.

He loved baseball, any kind of baseball with the Chicago White Sox being his favorite team to root for and any team that played against the Yankees. He was ecstatic when his White Sox finally won the World Series in 2005. Being a Brooklyn Dodger fan, he adopted the New York Mets as his team to root for in the National league after the Dodgers moved to Los Angeles.

Julian loved to travel and see new places. He enjoyed the outdoors and birding was one of his favorite pastimes along with playing tennis. Julian also had a love for Jazz music which is evident from the extensive collection of CDs he had.

His love for his family and friends would always come first before any of his passions if he had the opportunity to see them. He was very proud of his family's accomplishments in life and would put them ahead before anything else.

Inurnment in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia will be held at a later date. The family wishes to celebrate Julian's life privately. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Planned Parenthood, 1108 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036
