He also served with M.E.R.S.
Mark was a life member of the United Steam Fire Engine Company, No. 3 Frederick, where he held many offices and currently had the honor of being Chief Emeritus. He was also a member of the Johnny Swamper Club; the Frederick Elks Lodge, No 684; and the Loyal Order of Moose No 948, Charles Town.
He played semi-pro football with the Frederick Falcons and had a brief but proud few months with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Mark enjoyed hunting and playing softball; loved that he had the best career ever as a firefighter; and most all loved time spent with family, especially his granddaughter, Lille.
