Lt. Colonel Whitten was a retired Army Veteran who served 27 years in the military. His MOS was the Medical Supply Division. He was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan and after his retirement did contract work in the Middle East. He was a highly decorated soldier who had a stellar career. He was the recipient of over 20 medals and was awarded the prestigious Bronze Star. His mantra in life was "Go hard or Go Home". He was a well-traveled man that lived life to the fullest. He always stated... If I go today, I can say I did it all and I have no regrets." He will be missed by a family who loved and depended on him for strength and encouragement.
