Peggy, resident of Fresno, Ca. passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at her home peacefully with her family at her side. She was born November 13, 1928, in Winters, Ca. and the daughter of Tokujiro and Masami Yasui. Peggy attended and graduated from the Henmi School of Dressmaking and Tailoring Academy. Peggy was married to Mo Nakamoto on April 22, 1951. Peggy was a Nursery School Teacher for 18 years and 10 years as the Office Administrator for the Fresno Buddhist Church, but Peggy's main occupation was heading up the Nakamoto household and raising her three children. Peggy and Mo had volunteered with the youth groups of the Fresno Buddhist Church and were the advisors for a Camp that has been going strong for 47 years. Peggy is survived by three children, Janis Sera, Toby Nakamoto and Sharon Saldana; two son-in-laws, Gregg Sera and Andy Saldana; a daughter in-law, Kris Nakamoto; three grandchildren, Kyle Nakamoto, Nicole Nakamoto and Michael Sera. She is also survived by her sister, Masayo Arii. Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Fresno Dharma Center, 2720 E. Just found out today (Sunday) of "mom's" passing. Very sad that I was not able to make the service. Love and condolences to all of you. Thank you for always considering me part of the family. You all take care.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news of the loss of your beloved mother, Sharon. God bless you and your family. What an absolutely beautiful tribute to your mother, your guardian angel. I'm so sorry to hear about auntie peggy's passing. pls accept my deepest condolences.
The pictures were a nice touch and another sign of how many friends and people's lives she touched
